The Lotus

The Lotus The Lotus is often used as a metaphor in the yogic tradition to symbolize our spiritual evolution. The roots begin in the mud and represent our lower nature, unconsciousness – the stem rises up through the muddy water being cleansed and reaching for the light (wisdom and truth). This also represents our search and connection to intuitive, higher awareness.

Finally the flower buds and blossoms in the sun, realizing our attainment of consciousness and connection to the beauty of life, when we can see past the illusion of the world. We are then able to merge with the Divine.

We are all on this journey in life of connecting with our deepest truth, passion and potential, and the time is now to claim that goal!

Even when we can't see the sun, it is shining, and even when all we can see is the mud, well, maybe we can remember that..."it takes a lot of fertilizer to create a beautiful garden!" We can learn and grow from all of it, like the graceful Lotus.

I also chose the Lotus as it represents hope, and the profound beauty of the Human Spirit. I chose the colors of Rose and Gold for the flower as they are my Aura colors, the blue water and green of the leaves represent Earth and Sky, Body and Spirit.

May the Lotus Spirit of your Heart blossom, and be abundantly healthy.

Namaste!

"Namaste" means... "What is Divine in me honors and acknowledges the Divine in you."
